About the job
Google Play is at the heart of the Android ecosystem, providing the apps, games, and digital content that bring Android devices to life. The Play store serves over two billion users in 190 markets, and is a critical driver of Google’s overall business growth. The mission of the Growth Marketing team is to create marketing programs that cultivate valuable relationships with the user base, helping users get the most out of Play in a fun and engaging way.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you are a storyteller, you craft compelling narratives about Google Play. You help users get the most out of their Play (and Android) experience, increasing product affinity and engagement. Along the way, your work helps to represent Google Play.
You build scalable programs that meet the needs of demanding super-gamers, users turning on their first mobile phones, and everyone in between.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
